Tourlos New Port cruise facilities
Cruise facilities in the New Port, separate from Chora’s Old Port.
Port reference
Mykonos cruise arrivals use the New Port at Tourlos or tender operations associated with the Old Port near Chora. The assignment changes the connection into town and the return journey. Read the ship's landing instructions before choosing a pickup point. A photograph of the old-town waterfront does not establish that the vessel will berth beside it, and the two ports are not one passenger entrance.
Coordinates identify the general port, not a passenger entrance. A dash means the value has not been independently verified.
The Municipal Port Fund distinguishes the New Port, Old Port and other island facilities. Its operating guidance protects cruise tender movements at the Old Port. Marina booking rules for small yachts should not be interpreted as ocean-cruise passenger check-in procedures. Use the actual cruise quay or tender meeting point, particularly when returning in a taxi after a visit elsewhere on the island.
Mykonos Airport's official bus page confirms a connection to Chora and directs passengers to the local bus operator. The current October 2026 timetable lists airport services to Fabrika and a separate Old Port–New Port connection. A heading for an Airport–New Port service does not by itself guarantee departures on the travel date. Check the displayed times and any required town transfer before using a public bus to meet a ship.
No direct passenger railway to the airport or cruise facilities is independently verified in this research. Arrange the final journey by confirmed bus, road transfer or an available harbour transport service. Check baggage and mobility arrangements for the complete route. A ship tender and a local boat connection have different boarding points and are not automatically interchangeable or included in the same ticket.
Chora's lanes, Little Venice and the windmills offer a town-focused visit. Beach trips and visits to another island require additional travel and their own return plan. Narrow streets, paving and steps can affect an outing even where the harbour edge appears level. Leave sufficient time to reach the actual port or tender landing before the ship's stated deadline, allowing for queues and changing conditions.
The port's published 2026 cruise spreadsheet supports repeated visits by the linked brands on distinct dates. An overnight arrival and departure is counted as one call. The programme is indicative, and a reservation is not proof that every planned visit happened. The official location coordinate identifies Mykonos generally, not a specific terminal gate.
