About us

CruisersBase helps travellers understand cruise lines, individual ships and the ports they actually use. The editorial team is Redaktion cruisersbase. Operator and responsible editor: TODO: Daniel — insert full legal identity. We do not sell bookings or provide a member area.

Our starting points are individual operator technical sheets, shipyard information and port-authority publications. We check vessel identity and distinguish active ships from actual construction projects. Every researched profile links sources and shows a check date. Missing or conflicting values stay unknown; we do not copy a classmate’s figures to fill a gap.

Our original guides explain how to use the data. Double occupancy and maximum guests remain different measures; GT describes enclosed volume, not weight. Live rankings use the published reference records and state their scope. Ports distinguish cruise terminals, ferry facilities and general coordinates so that an attractive destination name does not hide a different arrival point.

Corrections are checked against evidence independently of advertising. A source date records research, not a guarantee that a future call or terminal assignment will remain unchanged. Use the report-an-error page to prepare a correction and the contact page for the editorial address.
