Terminal A — Miaoulis
Gate E11, cruise port, Piraeus
Cruise passenger terminal; use the gate assigned in your documents.
Port reference
Piraeus is Athens' main cruise gateway, but the cruise terminals are not in central Athens. The harbour also has extensive ferry activity. A ferry gate, the Piraeus railway station and your cruise check-in are different locations, so identify the assigned terminal before arranging an airport transfer or planning a visit to the Acropolis.
Coordinates identify the general port, not a passenger entrance. A dash means the value has not been independently verified.
The port authority describes three cruise passenger terminals. MSC identifies TerminalA as Miaoulis, reached through gateE11, and TerminalsB andC as Themistocles and Alkimos through gateE12. The letter and gate in the sailing documents should guide the final approach. An address associated with the port authority's offices does not replace that passenger assignment.
The authority provides internal transport between ships and cruise passenger stations. It is a port service rather than an automatic transfer into Athens or to the airport. Check where you board it and which part of the harbour it serves. A ship assigned to another berth can have a different walking requirement even within the same cruise-terminal group.
Athens International Airport lists metroLine3, suburban railway and express busX96 as connections with Piraeus. These reach the port city or transport hub, not every cruise-terminal entrance. Add the final leg for your ship and check the actual service before travelling. A booked taxi or cruise transfer is another way to arrange that entire connection.
For rail arrivals, Piraeus station is a separate onward-planning point. MetroLine3 also continues towards Dimotiko Theatro, and the most suitable station depends on the confirmed passenger location and the route you choose. Avoid treating the shortest-looking harbour crossing on a map as a publicly accessible luggage route through operational areas.
The authority's2026 schedule, updated27 October, includes repeated MSC, Celestyal, Viking, Celebrity, Norwegian and Explora calls. It records scheduled activity, not guaranteed operation or embarkation availability for every visit. The Archaeological Museum of Piraeus and the Zea area offer local options, while the Acropolis and its museum require a separate Athens journey. Allow for the return transfer as well as the attraction itself. The coordinate here is the general official Piraeus location reference, not a particular cruise-terminal door.

The port authority provides internal ship-to-passenger-station transport. It is distinct from city transport to Athens and the airport; confirm the sailing-specific meeting point.
Connections reflect published programmes, not a guarantee for a particular sailing. Pending and future calls can change.
Approximate straight-line distances between general port coordinates, not road or sailing routes. Proximity does not imply an available connection.
