Split City Port cruise quays
City Port Basin passenger and cruise facilities; verify quay or tender assignment.
Port reference
Split combines an Adriatic passenger harbour with a city visit around Diocletian's Palace and the Riva waterfront. Cruise facilities belong to the City Port Basin. The wider port authority also manages industrial areas, so a generic port address is not sufficient for a passenger transfer. Confirm the actual quay or tender landing in the ship's call information before arranging transport.
Coordinates identify the general port, not a passenger entrance. A dash means the value has not been independently verified.
The harbour is also a busy gateway for ferries and catamarans serving Croatian islands. Their ticket offices and departure berths have a different role from ocean cruise check-in. A city-side arrival does not mean every berth has the same walk to the old town. Use the designated pedestrian route, and allow time for port traffic or a tender transfer if your vessel is not alongside.
Split Airport's official guidance places its shuttle boarding at the north parking area and the city arrival at Split's main bus station. The airport also lists public bus connections and taxis. These are different transport choices; a city shuttle is not an included cruise-line transfer to every gangway. Check the full final segment and luggage arrangements rather than calculating the entire journey from a road distance alone.
Split has a city railway arrival as well as the bus station. Check HŽ Passenger Transport's current operating notices when making rail plans. At the research date, late-October tunnel works affect some Split services, and further November works are announced. A railway itinerary can therefore include replacement transport. Do not assume an airport train or a continuous train-to-quay service from the existence of a mainline station.
The Riva provides a waterfront promenade beside the historic city. The palace area offers a different walking environment, with old paving, passages and busy streets. Choose an outing that matches the actual shore window and mobility needs. Island ferries, sightseeing boats and the ship's own tenders are separate services with their own schedules; returning on the wrong type of boat will not complete the cruise boarding process.
The authority publishes a 2026 cruise visit plan with repeated calls by the linked brands. Individual ship identities support the references rather than the shipping-agent column. Overnight stays are single calls, and future bookings remain provisional. The coordinate refers to Split generally instead of a particular cruise passenger entrance.

Split airport shuttle to the main bus station, public bus or taxi, then the assigned quay connection.
Split city station; consult HŽ operating notices for works and replacement buses before travel.
Use City Port Basin cruise instructions; island ferries and industrial port areas are different destinations.
Connections reflect published programmes, not a guarantee for a particular sailing. Pending and future calls can change.
Approximate straight-line distances between general port coordinates, not road or sailing routes. Proximity does not imply an available connection.
