Old San Juan cruise piers 3/4
Cruise quays by the historic city; confirm the east/west berth assignment.
Port reference
San Juan's cruise facilities occupy different parts of the bay. The Old San Juan piers provide an arrival by the historic city, while the Panamerican East and West facilities are separate passenger destinations across the harbour. San Juan Cruise Port's current schedule assigns ships to individual quays. Confirm that assignment before booking an airport transfer, choosing a hotel meeting point or planning to walk back from the old city.
Coordinates identify the general port, not a passenger entrance. A dash means the value has not been independently verified.
The operator's long-term redevelopment programme includes additional passenger infrastructure. That programme should not be read as proof that every proposed building or reconstructed pier is already available. This profile identifies the established Old San Juan 3/4 and Panamerican facilities, with the ship's actual east/west assignment remaining decisive. A map or development rendering alone is insufficient to select a boarding gate. Retain the terminal and reporting time supplied by the cruise line.
Luis Muñoz Marín International Airport, SJU, is the major airport arrival. Its operator provides terminal-specific taxi pickup locations and other ground transport information. It is not the same facility as the Isla Grande airport near the Panamerican area. Give the driver the named cruise terminal, not merely the city or whichever pier is closest to a hotel. Allow time for flight arrival formalities, baggage and port screening rather than treating an indicative drive time as a guaranteed boarding connection.
A public transport journey towards Old San Juan does not automatically deliver passengers to the Panamerican boarding entrance. Check the actual stop and the final road or walking segment for the assigned facility. No direct passenger railway platform at the cruise terminal is asserted. The cruise port also states that guest parking is not available inside its facilities, so anyone leaving a vehicle for a voyage needs a separate parking arrangement. Confirm luggage acceptance and mobility assistance for the actual ship.
Castillo San Cristóbal and Castillo San Felipe del Morro offer distinct heritage visits within San Juan National Historic Site. Their hill and walkway approaches differ from a flat stroll along a cruise quay. The National Park Service treats the Panamerican pier as a separate journey from the old-city piers. Choose an appropriate route and check entry conditions, then preserve time to return to the correct terminal.
The port's current forward calendar supports repeated visits by the linked cruise brands. Its ferry services and duplicate home-page displays are not counted as additional ocean cruise calls. The official coordinate is a general San Juan reference, not a particular passenger door.
Cruise quays by the historic city; confirm the east/west berth assignment.
Separate passenger facilities across the bay; do not substitute the old-city piers.
Luis Muñoz Marín International Airport taxi/road pickup must specify Old San Juan or Panamerican; Isla Grande is a different airport.
No direct passenger railway platform at the assigned cruise facility is verified.
Confirm individual pier and east/west berth; Old San Juan and Panamerican require different final approaches.
Connections reflect published programmes, not a guarantee for a particular sailing. Pending and future calls can change.
Approximate straight-line distances between general port coordinates, not road or sailing routes. Proximity does not imply an available connection.
