Cyril B. Romney Tortola Pier Park
Cruise pier at Road Town; tender landing is adjacent.
Port reference
Road Town is Tortola's capital and cruise arrival destination in the British Virgin Islands. The port authority identifies the Cyril B. Romney Tortola Pier Park as the cruise facility and describes an adjacent landing for ship tenders. Check whether your own visit uses the pier or a tender before arranging a meeting ashore. A cruise itinerary saying Tortola does not turn every ferry terminal on the island into the correct passenger entrance.
Coordinates identify the general port, not a passenger entrance. A dash means the value has not been independently verified.
Road Town Jetty is a separate facility primarily used by local ferries. Port Purcell handles cargo, while West End is another ferry arrival area elsewhere on Tortola. These names should not be substituted for the cruise pier when booking a transfer. The Pier Park's shops and restaurants provide a recognisable landside meeting area, but agree the exact point with the operator rather than relying on a business name alone.
Terrance B. Lettsome International Airport is on Beef Island, linked to Tortola, and is the appropriate local air gateway for a road arrival. Some journeys instead use St. Thomas in the US Virgin Islands and then continue by sea. That is a different arrival involving an inter-island crossing and border arrangements, not an alternative road transfer from the same airport. Check each connection in the booked journey and allow time for the actual embarkation appointment.
For a visit within Road Town, the J.R. O'Neal Botanic Gardens offer a town-based destination separate from the cruise shopping area. Confirm access and opening arrangements before making the gardens the centre of a short shore visit. A route into town and the return to the assigned landing should be planned together. Beach excursions elsewhere on Tortola require their own transport and cannot be treated as a walk around the pier.
The coordinate used here is the general Road Harbour reference, not a gangway position. P&O Cruises publishes separate Arvia voyages K702 and K703 in January 2027 with Tortola calls. Those distinct departures support the regular line connection. Planned calls and passenger arrangements can change; the ship's current instructions establish the final landing and return time.
Cruise pier at Road Town; tender landing is adjacent.
Terrance B. Lettsome International Airport (EIS), Beef Island: arrange the road connection to Road Town. St. Thomas arrivals require a separate sea crossing.
No passenger rail connection to the cruise terminal is established in the reviewed arrival information. Plan the final approach by road or on the authorised pedestrian route.
Use Tortola Pier Park for cruise arrivals; Road Town Jetty and West End ferry facilities are separate destinations.
Connections reflect published programmes, not a guarantee for a particular sailing. Pending and future calls can change.
Approximate straight-line distances between general port coordinates, not road or sailing routes. Proximity does not imply an available connection.
