Oranjestad cruise terminals
Use the assigned cruise berth and passenger terminal; Barcadera is a separate cargo port.
Port reference
Oranjestad is Aruba's cruise arrival city, with passenger facilities beside the urban waterfront. The port authority describes two cruise terminals and publishes provisional berth assignments for each scheduled call. Keep the berth and ship name together when arranging a pick-up. A general address for the port administration does not identify every passenger entrance.
Coordinates identify the general port, not a passenger entrance. A dash means the value has not been independently verified.
Barcadera is a separate cargo location and should not replace Oranjestad as the cruise transfer destination. Within Oranjestad, follow the passenger route designated for the actual ship rather than entering through a service gate. Terminal information desks can help with city orientation, while check-in times and boarding arrangements come from the cruise line for the particular voyage.
Queen Beatrix International Airport is the relevant air gateway. Its operator identifies airport taxis and directs passengers to regulated fare information. Public bus stops are outside airport property and are served by Arubus. Before selecting a bus for embarkation, check the current route, luggage arrangements and the final walk or transfer to the assigned passenger entrance. No single airport-to-gangway journey time applies to every sailing.
The port authority places the island's main bus terminal across the street from the cruise terminal area. This can be useful for an independent visit, but a city bus departure is different from a ship excursion bus boarding point on port premises. Confirm the return stop before travelling away from the centre. Discuss accessible vehicle needs in advance with the transport provider and cruise line.
Central sights include Fort Zoutman and the Historical Museum, together with the main shopping streets around Caya G. F. Betico Croes. Choose a compact city route or allow additional transport time for an island beach visit. The coordinate here refers generally to Paarden Baai, not a terminal door. The authority's November 2026 programme documents repeated calls by several linked lines. Overnight departure rows are not counted as extra visits, and provisional schedules remain subject to change.
Use the assigned cruise berth and passenger terminal; Barcadera is a separate cargo port.
Queen Beatrix International Airport (AUA): airport taxis; Arubus stops outside airport property require a planned final port connection.
No passenger rail connection to the cruise terminal is established in the reviewed arrival information. Plan the final approach by road or on the authorised pedestrian route.
Main bus terminal opposite the cruise terminal area; confirm the actual passenger gate and return stop.
Connections reflect published programmes, not a guarantee for a particular sailing. Pending and future calls can change.
Approximate straight-line distances between general port coordinates, not road or sailing routes. Proximity does not imply an available connection.
