Port reference
Willemstad gives cruise visitors access to Curaçao's historic capital around St. Anna Bay. The first practical decision is which quay the ship uses. Mega Pier lies outside the bay entrance, while Mathey Wharf is on the Otrobanda side inside the harbour. These are different transfer destinations, even though both can support a visit to the central neighbourhoods.
Coordinates identify the general port, not a passenger entrance. A dash means the value has not been independently verified.
The wider port also includes the Schottegat industrial and cargo areas. A map result for the port authority or a cargo business is therefore not sufficient for passenger check-in. Keep the actual terminal name with your travel documents and share it with the driver. For a turnaround cruise, distinguish the passenger entrance from a convenient meeting place used during a shore excursion.
Curaçao International Airport, also known as Hato, is the air gateway for this profile. The airport identifies authorised taxis outside the arrivals hall and public bus stops near the terminal. A bus journey towards Willemstad still needs a separately planned final connection to the assigned cruise quay. Check luggage arrangements and the complete route before choosing public transport for embarkation.
Otrobanda offers streets, public art and access towards the waterfront. Across the bay, Punda includes the Handelskade and markets. The Queen Emma pontoon bridge joins the two districts and opens for passing ships. Build flexibility into a route that crosses the water, particularly when returning to a time-sensitive boarding appointment. A photograph across the bay does not show the remaining route to a particular gangway.
For a compact shore visit, choose the central districts before adding beaches or island excursions. Those additional destinations need their own transport and return plan. The general city coordinate here does not identify either terminal entrance. P&O Cruises publishes separate Britannia departures B702 and B703 in early 2027 that include Curaçao, supporting the regular line connection. Itinerary dates remain planned calls rather than promises of an unchanged berth.

Separate cruise quay on the Otrobanda side of the bay.
Hato / Curaçao International Airport (CUR): authorised airport taxis or a planned public-bus journey with a separate final connection.
No passenger rail connection to the cruise terminal is established in the reviewed arrival information. Plan the final approach by road or on the authorised pedestrian route.
Use the assigned quay; allow for Queen Emma Bridge opening when crossing between Otrobanda and Punda.
Connections reflect published programmes, not a guarantee for a particular sailing. Pending and future calls can change.
Approximate straight-line distances between general port coordinates, not road or sailing routes. Proximity does not imply an available connection.
