Port reference

Lisbon

Lisbon's cruise waterfront lies beside the Tagus rather than at the city's airport or in a single undefined harbour district. Lisbon Cruise Port identifies the Lisbon Cruise Terminal and Santa Apolónia Passenger Terminal as separate facilities. Use the terminal and berth assigned to your sailing before choosing the final approach. A city-centre map point is not necessarily the correct passenger entrance.

Coordinates identify the general port, not a passenger entrance. A dash means the value has not been independently verified.

The main Lisbon terminal is identified at Doca Jardim do Tabaco. Santa Apolónia is another terminal reference and also the name of important city transport facilities. Keep the passenger building, railway station and metro station distinct in a travel plan. Similar names help orientation but do not make their entrances interchangeable when carrying luggage or meeting a driver.

Lisbon Airport has a metro connection with the city. The port operator describes taking the Red Line and changing to the Blue Line towards Santa Apolónia. Add the actual station exit and final approach to the assigned terminal rather than assuming a direct train into the port building. Confirm the current network and any disruption before travelling, especially when a flight arrival is close to the ship's check-in window.

An organised airport transfer is another option when included or booked for the sailing. The airport's cruise information makes that meet-and-greet arrangement conditional on the package. It should not be promised to every arriving passenger. A private taxi or booked vehicle likewise needs the correct terminal meeting point and the group's luggage and assistance requirements.

Alfama offers an old-city visit on rising streets above the waterfront. Praça do Comércio is another city destination beside the river. Choose a route suited to the available time and walking ability, with the return to the assigned entrance included. A short map distance does not remove steps, slopes or the need to reach the permitted passenger approach.

The operator's dated forward programme shows repeated P&O Cruises, Cunard, TUI Cruises, AIDA, Oceania and Costa visits. These requested reservations remain provisional and do not all establish embarkation availability. The coordinate is the general official Lisboa location, not a door at Jardim do Tabaco or Santa Apolónia.
