Amsterdam

Amsterdam's sea-cruise terminal is on the IJ waterfront at Piet Heinkade, east of Amsterdam Centraal. It is a specific passenger location, not a collective address for every cruise advertised with Amsterdam in its itinerary. Check the actual terminal before arranging transport: river-cruise moorings and other Dutch departure ports require their own directions.

Coordinates identify the general port, not a passenger entrance. A dash means the value has not been independently verified.

Cruise Port Amsterdam publishes Piet Heinkade27 as the passenger-terminal address. The operator describes a walking approach eastwards from the station's IJ side, with the terminal entrance beside the hotel. Decide whether that route suits your luggage and mobility rather than treating a station-to-terminal walking estimate as part of the train journey itself.

Tram26 provides another connection from Centraal to Muziekgebouw/Bimhuis. The transport operator's current stop information confirms the tram link, but departures and diversions should be checked for the day. You still need to continue from the stop to the terminal and follow the instructions for your ship's luggage drop and boarding window.

Amsterdam Airport Schiphol has a railway connection with Amsterdam Centraal. The airport and NS provide the current journey information. This links the airport with the city station; it is not a train service into the cruise building. Compare the full journey with a booked road transfer, allowing time for collecting bags and finding the final connection.

The terminal's2026 calendar records repeated Celebrity Eclipse visits and recurring calls by Viking, Seabourn, Carnival, P&O Cruises, Windstar and other operators. A scheduled visit may be a turnaround or a transit call. Use your booking to establish whether Amsterdam is the start of your own voyage, and consult the current calendar for changes rather than assigning one timetable to a whole brand.

The IJ waterfront provides a starting point for a city stay, while NEMO Science Museum and the canal district offer different visit themes. Plan any attraction around its own admission arrangements and the time required to return. Overnight hotel, rail station and ship addresses are separate destinations. The stored coordinate is the general UNECE Amsterdam reference, not a terminal entrance or a claim that all ships berth at that point.
