About us Mein Schiff 7

Mein Schiff 7 joined TUI Cruises in 2024 after actual delivery from Meyer Turku on 10 June. It is a Finnish-built member of the Blue Motion family, related to the present Mein Schiff 1 and 2. Its identity is IMO 9851189 and it currently flies Malta's flag. Current technical and Hamburg port references give 112982 gross tons; older promotional figures around 111500 are kept separate.

The stern's Großen Freiheit area brings specialty dining together behind its distinctive glazed facade. Hideki, La Spezia and Surf & Turf provide different culinary choices. These should be compared using the individual menu and reservation terms, rather than treating every venue as interchangeable within the fare. A passenger can plan an occasional specialty dinner alongside the included meal options without assuming that the entire range has one price.

For time outdoors, Hoheluft Bar and the upper-deck layout give the ship a different emphasis from the later InTUItion vessels. Look at the actual deck plan when choosing a room for access to a particular setting. A view across a public area, a private balcony and a suite lounge represent different experiences. Category benefits and room position help answer those questions more reliably than the broad label of a newer ship.

The ship operates with marine diesel and was designed with readiness for future methanol use. A completed bunkering trial in Kiel in August 2026 adds an important distinction: the fuel supplier explicitly states that the renewable methanol supplied was for boiler operation rather than propulsion. That trial therefore does not establish routine methanol-powered sailing, and the ship is not described as an LNG vessel.

The current operator technical FAQ gives 1461 cabins and sixteen decks, whereas the older launch sheet lists fifteen. Its individual launch sheet explicitly identifies 2896 guests at double occupancy. Single rooms form part of the inventory, so total rooms should not simply be doubled. Published length and moulded breadth are 315.7 and 35.8 metres. Exact crew, a verified maximum passenger capacity and maximum speed remain open, as does any subsequent completed refurbishment after the 2024 delivery.
