About us Mein Schiff 4

Mein Schiff 4 joined TUI Cruises in 2015 as the second purpose-built ship in the Blue Motion sequence. Built at Meyer Turku in Finland, it is identified by IMO 9678408 and now sails under Malta's flag. The individual builder specification agrees with current technical records on 99526 gross tons. Its original service year remains separate from later maintenance and improvements.

A completed Dubai refurbishment in February 2025 gives the ship a documented recent point of change. The operator records work from 10 to 23 February and the first subsequent guest departure on 24 February. Public-area flooring, the pool surroundings and sauna facilities were among the areas addressed. These details allow travellers to distinguish the current setting from an older account without assuming every part of the ship was rebuilt.

The 25-metre outdoor pool is one of the familiar physical features of this design. The ship also offers the glazed Diamant area at the stern and the Blauer Balkon platform. Each creates a different relationship with the sea: swimming, sitting near a broad glass facade or stepping onto a glass viewing area. Compare those experiences with your own comfort and interests rather than treating them as interchangeable attractions.

The yard programme also replaced propellers and addressed the underwater hull coating. The operator describes these as efficiency measures. They do not establish a particular fuel saving on a passenger's individual voyage or imply that the vessel has acquired LNG machinery from a newer fleet member. Public-space renewal and technical changes should be understood as different parts of the same completed visit.

Current operator references give 1253 cabins and fifteen decks. Passenger material defines 2506 as double occupancy, while an independently reconciled maximum is not available here. The builder's 293.2-metre length differs slightly from 293.3 in operator material; the technical value is retained with the difference documented. Moulded breadth is 35.8 metres. Exact current crew, maximum speed and detailed machinery remain unresolved. Cabin choice should use the actual room plan and fare conditions, especially where a suite benefit or a particular location determines the booking.
