Port reference
Tromsø is a northern Norwegian cruise destination with two very different arrival settings: the city-centre harbour and Breivika north of the centre. The port's live call list records the actual quay for each ship. Use that information before choosing a hotel pickup, planning a city walk or arranging a transfer with luggage. A general Tromsø harbour address is not precise enough for every sailing.
Coordinates identify the general port, not a passenger entrance. A dash means the value has not been independently verified.
Quay8 is identified as a central cruise quay, while the quay guide groups Breivika positions20–24 together and separately lists quay25. The call list frequently uses the label Kai21 for larger vessels. Keep that actual assignment rather than silently replacing it with a different quay number. The coastal-voyage berth at quay7 is another facility and does not automatically identify your ocean-cruise boarding point.
Breivika requires a separate city journey. The authority's access instructions show an underpass and marked pedestrian paths for reaching the public road and bus stop. Follow these routes instead of crossing working traffic lanes. Port guidance identifies bus42 towards Eidkjosen for the centre and the Stakkevollan direction for the return, with Breivika as the relevant stop. Check the current Svipper planner and disruptions for the travel date.
Tromsø Airport has airport-bus and local-bus options. Choose the actual service for the required city or port connection, then complete the assigned-quay approach. An airport coach serving city hotels should not be assumed to enter a restricted cruise area. No passenger-rail connection to these cruise facilities is established here.
The Polar Museum, Polaria and the city cathedral provide different visiting options. The Arctic Cathedral and cable car are separate destinations across the water; plan their transport and return rather than treating every attraction as beside the gangway. Weather and seasonal conditions can affect how practical a walk feels, so select a route suited to your group.
Repeated authority records establish AIDA, TUI Cruises, MSC, Viking and Silversea visits. Overnight stays remain individual calls, and future reservations are provisional. The coordinate is the general official Tromsø reference, not a terminal entrance.

For Breivika follow the underpass and marked routes. Port guidance names bus42; check Svipper for current routing and disruptions.
Connections reflect published programmes, not a guarantee for a particular sailing. Pending and future calls can change.
Approximate straight-line distances between general port coordinates, not road or sailing routes. Proximity does not imply an available connection.
