About us Oasis 7 (project designation)
Oasis 7 is the published project designation for Royal Caribbean International's seventh Oasis-class vessel. The reviewed construction announcements do not establish a final commercial name. It is a separate project from Utopia of the Seas and from the Icon-class ships being built in Finland. Its own construction site is Chantiers de l'Atlantique in Saint-Nazaire, France.
The operator confirms first steel cutting on 23 October 2025. That milestone began physical production beyond the earlier order stage. The builder subsequently documented placement of the first block in the dry dock and the beginning of assembly. Its own account describes participation by yard and Royal Caribbean teams, with the traditional sealing of coins in a steel tube.
Those verified events establish an actual vessel under construction. They do not establish completed float-out, sea trials, delivery or passenger operations. A photograph of an assembly block should be read as evidence for that stage rather than a finished view of the ship. The project remains separate from the active fleet totals.
Royal Caribbean's announcement targets introduction in 2028. Final features and the ship's name are described as information to be released later. This record therefore retains the project label and avoids inventing a name from trademarks, speculation or a similarly named vessel in another class.
The Oasis family offers context for comparison, but class membership is not a licence to copy a sister ship's technical certificate or cabin inventory. Individual tonnage, capacity, accommodation and venue details need their own applicable evidence. The eventual delivered vessel may differ from early design summaries and from its predecessors.
For future travel planning, wait for a specific confirmed programme and examine the room category, fare and embarkation arrangements together. Do not arrange independent transfers from a guessed homeport or assume that every attraction on an earlier Oasis ship is included. This construction profile records what is established now while preserving the distinction between a verified project and a passenger product already operating.

A dash means no independently verified value is available. Guest counts at double occupancy and maximum capacity are different measures. GT measures enclosed volume, not weight.
