About us Harmony of the Seas

Harmony of the Seas entered service in 2016 after construction at STX France in Saint-Nazaire. It belongs to Royal Caribbean's Oasis family, but a current view of Harmony is more useful than assuming it is simply a larger version of an older sister. The operator's checked technical sheet is dated July 2026 and names the facilities used for this reference.

Among those names are Pesky Parrot, Playmakers Sports Bar & Arcade, the Lime & Coconut and Giovanni's Italian Kitchen & Wine Bar. The same document identifies seven neighbourhoods, AquaTheater, Studio B, the Perfect Storm and Ultimate Abyss. These details give a returning Royal Caribbean guest concrete items to compare with a previous ship or an older description of Harmony. A familiar class name does not establish an unchanged restaurant or lounge list.

The technical scale is 226,963 gross tonnage and 362 metres of rounded length. Eighteen total decks are distinguished from 16 guest decks, and the published double-occupancy figure is 5,697 guests. These measurements should be used as references to the documented configuration, not as a prediction of how full any individual venue will feel on your sailing.

If the attraction is the range of activities, work out how they fit around your own port days. An early departure for an excursion and a late performance can place different demands on cabin location and rest time. Choose the experiences that justify the ship for you, then consider whether the itinerary supplies the free time to enjoy them without making each day a checklist.

For accommodation, trace the route between your likely evening venues, the lifts and the proposed category. Compare an internal-neighbourhood outlook with an outward sea view as separate products. The combination of a current deck plan and clearly defined occupancy data makes Harmony easier to evaluate than a decision based solely on launch year or a headline size claim.
