Celebrity Beyond began passenger service in April 2022, with its first itinerary departing Southampton. It was built at Chantiers de l'Atlantique in Saint-Nazaire as the third Edge-series ship. Beyond introduced the longer version of the design, extending the public-space and accommodation arrangement beyond the original Edge and Apex. The individual hull carries IMO 9838395, with 141420 GT and Maltese registry.

One practical result of the extended design is the grouping of The Retreat's restaurant, lounge and two-level sundeck. These spaces serve suite guests under their own conditions. Luminae is positioned forward with broad windows, while ordinary accommodation has a different dining arrangement. A room close to a restricted space does not gain access simply through its location; compare category benefits before paying for proximity to a venue.

Sunset Bar occupies an aft, multi-level setting designed by Nate Berkus. Rooftop Garden and its cantilevered pools provide another outdoor focus, different from the central resort deck. These locations explain why the ship needs an individual plan rather than the lead ship's shorter layout. On a sea day, compare exposure, routes and available seating rather than assuming every outside area offers the same atmosphere.

Le Voyage introduced Daniel Boulud's restaurant concept to this series. Four main restaurants provide another meal structure, while Eden Cafe, Oceanview Cafe and other casual settings have their own roles. The combined count of food and beverage venues includes bars and lounges, not only restaurants. A useful fare comparison separates ordinary meals, a speciality dinner and a beverage allowance instead of treating them as interchangeable inclusions.

The dining page already advertises Bora, Orange Peel Bar & Grille and Tacos del Sol for November 2026. At this review date those additions are still future features. They are not described as completed or used to assign a finished refurbishment year. Technical particulars give 326.5 metres overall length,39 metres hull breadth,1646 rooms and seventeen decks. The published 3260 guest figure is explicitly double occupancy. Maximum capacity and an exact current crew complement remain unresolved. The operator's 22 knots is cruising speed, so neither maximum speed nor a sister ship's machinery is inferred from it.
