About us Celebrity Apex

Celebrity Apex was completed and delivered in 2020, but its first guest voyages began in 2021. The operator confirms its Athens debut on 19 June 2021, following the interruption of the originally planned 2020 programme. Build year and service year therefore remain separate. The ship is the second Edge-series unit from Saint-Nazaire, with IMO 9838383 and Maltese registry.

Eden is an aft setting whose use changes through the day. It combines a lounge environment with dining and entertainment, rather than acting as a single conventional theatre. Grand Plaza forms another focal point over three levels. A traveller planning an evening can distinguish the open social space from a scheduled performance in the dedicated theatre. The programme determines what happens in each room during a particular voyage.

Magic Carpet is a movable platform on the ship's side. Its purpose varies with its operating position; it is not a passenger elevator that can be called for a personal ride. Rooftop Garden supplies an outdoor alternative. Neither feature establishes a guaranteed view from every room. Cabin comparisons should use the actual category and position, particularly where a room faces a structural element or moving platform.

The accommodation choice includes Infinite Veranda rooms, ordinary balcony arrangements and suites. An Infinite Veranda incorporates an opening window into the room's living area, so it should be compared with the enclosure and layout of a traditional balcony. The Retreat adds category-based access to a private restaurant, lounge and sundeck. These benefits differ from choosing a larger room within the ordinary accommodation inventory.

Current operator facts list 2910 guests at double occupancy and 130818 GT. The older pre-delivery sheet's 2918 guests,129500 GT and April 2020 maiden date are superseded, while its individually corroborated 1467 rooms and 1320 crew remain useful. Technical particulars give 306 metres length and 39 metres hull breadth; the AIS summary's 50 metre width is not adopted. A completed 2025 drydock is recorded separately from the earlier planned 2024 date. Maximum guests and total decks remain unresolved across inventory definitions. The published 21.8 knots describes cruising speed, so maximum speed and a complete propulsion specification are left open rather than copied from another Edge ship.
