About us AIDAmar

AIDAmar entered service in 2012 as a Meyer Werft ship built in Papenburg. The modified Sphinx design connects it to Blu, Sol and Stella, with a larger spa arrangement than the first Sphinx generation. Current technical identity is IMO 9490052, under the Italian flag, and current insurance agrees with other particulars on 71304 gross tons.

Its onboard choices include Bella Donna and East buffet restaurants, Brauhaus and Pier 3 Bar. These provide different settings rather than one uniform meal or lounge experience. Compare the style of service and the applicable fare inclusions before selecting a routine. A venue appearing on the ship page does not establish that every drink, menu or restaurant visit is included in every tariff.

Pier 3 Bar offers a harbour-facing pause before heading ashore when the ship is alongside. The practical choice is whether to reserve time for breakfast and a relaxed departure or prioritise the earliest possible excursion. Check the port programme and meeting point rather than deriving walking distances from an attractive onboard view. Theatrium supplies another focal point for entertainment between visits ashore.

A short Rotterdam yard stop in July 2026 was associated with certificate renewal, following an earlier weather-related change. The operator described that limited technical purpose, and contemporary reporting records completion. This does not mean the major Evolution rebuild has already happened. The present schedule places that project later in 2026, with a December return. The planned Mediterranea restaurant and replacement of the Destille by a Snack Bar belong to that future configuration at the review date.

The builder's individual specification gives 253.3 metres length, 32.2 metres moulded breadth and fourteen decks. Current operator material describes diesel-electric machinery and explicitly gives 2686 maximum guests for charter use. Current cabin figures conflict with older inventories, while rounded corporate berths do not establish exact double occupancy. Those fields remain open alongside crew and an independently reconciled maximum speed. Keeping the July technical visit distinct from the forthcoming larger work helps travellers select the right plan for their actual sailing.
