Port reference

San Sebastián de La Gomera

San Sebastián de La Gomera is the cruise gateway in La Gomera's island capital. It is a different place from San Sebastián in mainland Spain and should be identified with the island name when arranging travel. The port authority's visitor guide places the harbour beside the capital, while its infrastructure directory treats it separately from Tenerife, La Palma and El Hierro.

Coordinates identify the general port, not a passenger entrance. A dash means the value has not been independently verified.

Cruise vessels and island transport use the wider harbour, so the name of the port alone does not specify every passenger entrance. Confirm the assigned cruise berth, marked exit and vehicle meeting point for your sailing. A ferry boarding instruction should not automatically be applied to an ocean cruise simply because both services use the same town.

La Gomera Airport is the island's own air gateway. Aena identifies bus7 between the airport and San Sebastián, with departures related to flight arrivals. Bus6 instead serves Valle Gran Rey and other places. Choose the correct route and check GuaguaGomera's actual timetable before relying on a connection. Add the final approach from the city stop to the assigned cruise entrance, or arrange a confirmed road transfer.

If you arrive by an inter-island ferry, keep its booking and arrival procedure separate from the cruise embarkation. A connection between services still needs a realistic margin for disembarkation, luggage and reaching the right passenger area. No passenger-rail connection to the cruise berth is established by the sources used here.

The capital's historic streets and Torre del Conde offer a town-focused visit. The Archaeological Museum is another specific cultural destination. Garajonay National Park and island viewpoints are different excursions requiring their own transport and return plan. A view of the mountainous interior from the harbour does not make a forest trail a short waterfront walk.

The authority's unique November and December2026 records show recurring AIDA, TUI Cruises and Windstar calls. The shipping agent Fred Olsen, S.A. is not automatically evidence for Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines. Future reservations remain provisional, and repeated calendar renderings are not additional visits. The coordinate is a rounded general port reference from the authority's technical report, not an entrance for passengers.

Getting there

Airport connections

Aena lists airport bus7 to San Sebastián;6 serves Valle Gran Rey. Check GuaguaGomera and add the last cruise-quay approach.

Rail connections

No passenger-rail connection to the cruise berth is established here. Use the actual island bus, road and ferry services with a confirmed connection margin.

Local transport and final connection

Confirm the cruise entrance separately from ferry procedures. Torre del Conde and city streets differ from a Garajonay excursion.
