Port reference

Nassau

Nassau's cruise gateway is Prince George Wharf on New Providence. Nassau Cruise Port gives its physical address as #1 Prince George Wharf and directs joining passengers to the Arrivals Terminal for the required security and document checks. The location offers access to downtown Nassau, but a berth assignment still matters when finding a particular ship. Keep the vessel name, boarding instructions and return deadline rather than relying on a general harbour pin.

Coordinates identify the general port, not a passenger entrance. A dash means the value has not been independently verified.

Several ships can call during the same day, with different quay positions and passenger movements. A cruise-area shop or waterfront meeting point is not necessarily the place where a tour actually departs. Confirm whether an excursion assembles by the ship, inside the passenger facilities or at a named public location. Passengers requiring wheelchair assistance should request it through their shipboard team, as the port's own guidance explains. Arrange support for the complete route, not just the final gangway.

Lynden Pindling International Airport is a separate arrival point on New Providence. The airport operator lists taxis outside the US, international and domestic terminals, while the cruise port identifies a taxi connection to the harbour. Give the driver the actual cruise passenger destination and agree the pickup point after baggage collection. A published indicative drive is not a guaranteed airport-to-boarding time. Allow for traffic, documents and the cruise line's reporting window when planning a journey.

No public passenger railway connection to the cruise terminal is asserted. Road transfers and any locally chosen public transport should be checked for their actual destination and luggage arrangements. The port states that it has no on-site parking facilities. Nearby public or private parking therefore needs a separate arrangement, especially if a vehicle must remain throughout a voyage. Friends accompanying a boarding passenger cannot assume access beyond the Arrivals Terminal's controlled point.

Rawson Square and Parliament Square provide a downtown orientation near Bay Street. The Straw Market and National Art Gallery offer different kinds of local visit, with their own opening and admission arrangements. Paradise Island is a separate destination across the harbour; a beach club or resort visit should not be treated as automatically included with every Nassau cruise call.

The current port programme confirms repeated Carnival, Royal Caribbean, MSC, Disney, Norwegian, Celebrity, Princess and Virgin visits. Outdated brand names in a general FAQ are not reused as today's company list. The official coordinate is a general Nassau reference, not the assigned ship's gangway.
