Confirm the port name carefully when comparing South Florida sailings; Miami and Fort Lauderdale are separate embarkation locations.

Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport provides a nearby air gateway. Miami International Airport involves another ground journey. The port describes taxis, rideshare, coaches and hotel transport, with designated collection areas at the passenger terminals. A short geographical separation does not eliminate baggage collection, port access procedures or the cruise line's own boarding deadline.

Terminal 2 and Terminal 4 illustrate why the individual assignment matters. Both connect with the Heron parking facilities, but they have separate addresses and passenger routes. Disney also publishes specific departures that embark at Terminal 2 and return at Terminal 4. Check both ends of the voyage when arranging parking or a collection, rather than assuming the return building matches embarkation.

For time ashore, Fort Lauderdale's beachfront promenade offers a coastal outing, while Las Olas Boulevard and the Riverwalk district provide an urban alternative around the New River. Decide between them according to the hours available and transport arrangements. A waterfront excursion is not automatically a walk from every berth.

Use the date-specific ship schedule and terminal instructions before travelling. Keep the final approach, baggage drop-off and onward collection in the same plan. If visiting between flights, resolve luggage storage independently from sightseeing. The map coordinate is a general port-area reference, not a terminal door or a walking route through the working harbour.
