About us Spectrum of the Seas

Spectrum of the Seas entered passenger service in 2019. Meyer Werft's own record identifies it as the fourth vessel in the five-ship Quantum series and records delivery in spring 2019. For this ship, the builder supplies a useful second technical perspective alongside Royal Caribbean's dedicated factsheet, especially where measurements need a clear definition.

Both sources support 169,379 gross tonnage and 4,246 passengers, with the operator explicitly stating the double-occupancy basis. The builder gives a length of 347.1 metres and a moulded breadth of 41.4 metres; those defined figures are used here instead of mixing them with a differently presented overall width. A single deck total is left unset because the builder and operator publish different counts. That distinction is preferable to treating every deck number as if it referred to the same scope.

North Star, RipCord by iFLY and the Ultimate Family Suite are named in the ship's technical materials. Its dining list includes Sichuan Red, the Hot Pot and Noodle Bar. These individual names are useful when comparing Spectrum with another Quantum-family ship rather than assuming the restaurant line-up is universal throughout the series.

The checked itinerary dated 1 November 2026 starts in Shanghai's Baoshan port, calls in Jeju and Busan, and finishes in Hong Kong after five nights. It is a one-way example, not a permanent route. Check both endpoints when arranging flights and transfers; a departure city's name alone does not tell you where the holiday ends.

Royal Caribbean's language guidance notes that certain mainland-China-focused sailings may use Mandarin more frequently, although English assistance is available. Confirm the language arrangements of your own departure if entertainment or children's activities are important to your choice. A translated sales page cannot answer that question, and the particular sailing matters as much as the ship's technical specification.
