About us Anthem of the Seas

Anthem of the Seas joined passenger service in 2015. The dedicated Royal Caribbean sheet gives 22 April as its maiden-voyage date and identifies Meyer Werft in Papenburg as the builder. Its Quantum-family design should be investigated through its own cabin plan and current programme rather than through an assumption that a sister ship's review describes every detail.

The published technical figures are 168,666 gross tonnage and 348 metres of rounded length. The operator counts 16 total decks, of which 14 are guest decks, and uses 4,180 guests at double occupancy as its capacity reference. The room total is not fixed here because the technical and marketing pages disagree; the documented guest basis can still be used without deriving a cabin count by arithmetic.

North Star, RipCord by iFLY and Two70 are the named highlights in Anthem's factsheet. SeaPlex, Music Hall, FlowRider and the Solarium also feature in its material. This combination gives a prospective guest specific spaces to investigate when comparing a holiday with substantial time onboard against one chosen mainly for its ports.

A useful example is the operator's three-night Sydney getaway dated 30 October 2026. The displayed itinerary returns to Sydney after two cruising days and shows no intermediate port call. That is a particular published departure, not a claim about every Anthem voyage. It demonstrates why the phrase three-night cruise does not itself establish how much sightseeing ashore is included.

For this sort of short sailing, choose the onboard experiences that matter before deciding whether the room outlook, location or category deserves the greater part of your budget. Verify the precise inclusions and booking conditions separately. Someone who mainly wants new destinations should assess a different itinerary even if the vessel itself is appealing; someone who wants time to explore the ship may value the same schedule differently.
