About us Sky Princess

Sky Princess is the fourth Royal-class ship and entered service in 2019. Its Monfalcone handover on 15 October should be distinguished from the first advertised Mediterranean passenger itinerary later that month. The original Sky Princess from earlier fleet history is another vessel. For present technical checks, use IMO 9802396 and the individual 2019 record rather than a name-only search.

This was the first Princess ship purpose-built for the MedallionClass service system. The wearable supports cabin access, purchases and other services, but technology does not decide which extras a fare includes. A package comparison should start with the drinks, connection and dining benefits actually wanted. A guest can then judge whether those conditions suit the departure instead of treating the Medallion label as an all-inclusive promise.

Accommodation includes two Sky Suites with especially large balconies. Those are specific premium rooms; their outdoor dimensions should not describe an ordinary balcony or mini-suite. The operator identifies 1,830 guest rooms in total, with categories including interior and oceanview accommodation. Match the exact category to its deck and nearby facilities before choosing a room purely from a headline suite photograph.

Estrella, Cielo and Soleil are the main dining rooms. World Fresh Marketplace and International Café provide other meal settings, while Crown Grill and Sabatini's represent speciality dining. Princess Theater, Princess Live and Vista Lounge give evenings several possible focal points. Movies Under the Stars supplies a different, open-air option. For time outside, the published pool arrangement includes main pools, Retreat Pool and Wake View Pool; access rules for a particular retreat should still be checked independently.

Current builder and insurer agree on 145,281 GT, superseding lower rounded figures in older summaries. The technical record gives 330 metres overall and 38.4 metres moulded breadth. Standard capacity is 3,660 lower berths; the builder separately describes accommodation for 4,610 guests. Its 5,800 all-persons limit includes other people aboard and is not adopted as passenger capacity. Current operator crew is 1,346, distinct from the older delivery complement.
