About us Crown Princess

Crown Princess began passenger service in June 2006, following construction at Fincantieri's Monfalcone yard. Its design developed the Grand family by adding another passenger deck, with lightweight construction helping support that change. The individual ship is identified by IMO 9293399. An older ship with the same Crown name belongs to a different part of the company's history and is not the source for these dimensions.

A completed Singapore refurbishment at the end of 2025 changed several public areas. O'Malley's Irish Pub replaced Wheelhouse Bar, while Gatsby's Casino was redesigned and an EFFY Lounge occupied the former Internet Café space. These named replacements are more useful than a blanket claim that the entire ship became new. They also explain why an older venue list may no longer guide a traveller correctly.

Main dining rooms Botticelli, Da Vinci and Michelangelo remain distinct from speciality reservations. Sabatini's and Crown Grill offer other meal formats, with International Café providing a smaller stop. World Fresh Marketplace adds another way to organise meals around a port day. Compare a package with the restaurants actually wanted, rather than treating every named venue as an included dinner.

Princess Theater, Explorers Lounge and Club Fusion supply different indoor entertainment settings. Skywalkers Nightclub is another part of Crown's layout; it should not be copied to a ship whose stern arrangement has changed. Movies Under the Stars gives an outdoor option, while the Piazza serves as a central meeting space. The daily programme decides how these venues are used on the chosen sailing.

Current insurer and operator agree on 113,561 GT, with 1,200 crew in the published reference. Standard capacity is recorded as 3,090 lower berths in the individual fact sheet and parent fleet inventory, despite a different rounded product summary. Current room totals conflict across sources and remain unresolved. The builder gives 288.7 metres overall and 36 metres moulded breadth. Its technical all-persons limit includes crew and is not used as a maximum guest capacity. A refurbishment year likewise does not guarantee a particular cabin's furnishings or condition.
