About us Caribbean Princess

Caribbean Princess entered service in April 2004 and belongs to the Grand design family. Its individual IMO is 9215490. The name describes the ship, not a restriction that it can only sail in the Caribbean: assess the actual itinerary and embarkation port for the departure. Fincantieri built the vessel at Monfalcone, while later maintenance work took place at other yards.

The Reef family area was introduced in 2019 as part of the ship's development. It provides a useful point of difference when comparing the outdoor layout with other Grand-family vessels, but it does not establish identical facilities on every sister. Family planning should also consider the separate children's and teen programmes, their age groups and the hours offered during port visits.

Coral, Island and Palm are the main dining-room names. World Fresh Marketplace and International Café add different ways to organise a meal. Steamers Seafood and Planks BBQ appear as pop-up experiences rather than continuously open independent restaurants. When choosing a dining package, count the meals you expect to reserve and check the actual service arrangements; a list of names alone can overstate what is available at one time.

Princess Theater and Club Fusion supply indoor entertainment settings, while Skywalkers Nightclub offers another late-day option. Movies Under the Stars creates a poolside alternative. The Piazza works as a meeting point between activities. A family or group does not have to spend every evening together in one venue: comparing the programme first can make it easier to arrange a shared meal and then choose different entertainment.

A completed Palermo drydock in 2024 included technical work and general hotel upkeep, later than the 2022 refurbishment year still printed in some brochures. Current operator and insurer identify 112,894 GT, with standard capacity of 3,140 guests and 1,200 crew. The builder gives 290 metres overall and 36 metres moulded breadth. Room inventories differ between the old fact sheet, current product page and original builder, so no single reconciled cabin total is asserted. Nor is the 4,800 all-persons limit used as a passenger maximum.
