Port reference
Yokohama is an important cruise departure city serving the Tokyo metropolitan region, but it is a separate city with several passenger terminals. Osanbashi, Shinko Pier and Daikoku Pier are different destinations. A Tokyo-area itinerary label does not identify which Yokohama entrance to use. Confirm the actual terminal in the cruise documents before choosing an airport transfer.
Coordinates identify the general port, not a passenger entrance. A dash means the value has not been independently verified.
Osanbashi International Passenger Terminal occupies a central waterfront pier. Shinko Pier's cruise facility is associated with Yokohama Hammerhead, while Daikoku lies in a different operating harbour area. The city specifically directs travellers to the cruise company's instructions and published call assignment. Do not reuse an Osanbashi walking route for a Daikoku departure simply because both are in the Port of Yokohama.
Haneda and Narita airports offer different approaches to the region. The municipal port information describes rail and bus access, but airport-to-city transport is only one stage of reaching the ship. Select the connection for the airport on the actual booking, then the correct Yokohama terminal. No single metropolitan airport journey time is promised as a complete check-in transfer.
For city rail arrivals, Nihon-odori and Kannai are useful references in the Osanbashi directions, while Shinko has different connections around the waterfront. Daikoku needs its own onward transport and access rules. The city limits entry to that terminal to actual passengers and closes the gate outside call operations. A terminal rooftop or public waterfront elsewhere is therefore not evidence of unrestricted visitor access at every pier.
Yamashita Park and the Red Brick Warehouses offer public city visiting areas. Their relationship to a central cruise berth is different from a ship at Daikoku. Choose the visit after planning both the outward and return journey. For an excursion to Tokyo, treat the intercity connection as a separate part of the day rather than assuming the ship is docked in Tokyo itself.
The city's 2026 call records show repeated Diamond Princess visits, supporting the Princess link. The schedule is updated as assignments change and distinguishes non-passenger repositioning entries. Such entries should not be counted as ordinary passenger calls. The official coordinate locates Yokohama generally and does not mark any of the three terminal entrances.
1-1-4 Kaigandori, Naka-ku, Yokohama, Japan
Central passenger terminal; confirm the assigned berth and entrance.
2-14-1 Shinko, Naka-ku, Yokohama, Japan
Separate waterfront cruise facility at Hammerhead.
13 Daikokufuto, Tsurumi-ku, Yokohama, Japan
Outlying port facility with call-specific passenger access.
Haneda/Narita arrivals have different rail/bus routes; plan the separate connection to the assigned Yokohama terminal.
Osanbashi directions use Nihon-odori/Kannai; Shinko and Daikoku need different final connections.
Use the municipal terminal-specific directions. Daikoku has passenger-only, call-dependent access.
Connections reflect published programmes, not a guarantee for a particular sailing. Pending and future calls can change.
Approximate straight-line distances between general port coordinates, not road or sailing routes. Proximity does not imply an available connection.
