Keelung

Keelung is a cruise port on Taiwan's north coast and a gateway for visiting Taipei. The cruise berths are in Keelung, not at a passenger terminal in central Taipei. Taiwan International Ports Corporation identifies distinct East and West cruise terminals. The East terminal is at 1 Zhongzheng Road, while the West terminal is at 16 Gangxi Street. The operator gives different approaches from Keelung station's south and north exits. These are not interchangeable passenger addresses, even though both facilities serve the same compact harbour. Use the actual berth code and the ship's boarding instructions together.

Taoyuan International Airport offers airport MRT, bus and road transport connections. An airport journey through Taipei needs another connection to Keelung and the appropriate terminal. Taoyuan Metro's A1 Taipei Main Station is a city interchange rather than the cruise port. Check the actual arrival terminal, current rail connections and the final harbour approach before selecting an embarkation-day itinerary.

Taiwan Railway services connect the northern region with Keelung station. After arrival, the permitted pedestrian route depends on whether the ship uses the East or West passenger facility. The station exit matters, particularly with luggage or limited mobility. A quoted walking time in a port guide is not a guarantee that all travellers can make the same airport-to-gangway connection. Allow for the actual boarding window.

Keelung's night-market area and YM Oceanic Culture and Art Museum are city visiting options identified by the port operator.
