Port reference

Hong Kong

Hong Kong's cruise passengers can arrive at Kai Tak Cruise Terminal or Ocean Terminal in Tsim Sha Tsui. These are separate destinations on the Kowloon side of the harbour, with different approaches and relationships to the city centre. Confirm the actual terminal before booking an airport transfer. A generic Hong Kong port address is not enough to identify the ship's passenger entrance.

Coordinates identify the general port, not a passenger entrance. A dash means the value has not been independently verified.

Kai Tak occupies the end of the former airport runway. That historic location is not the present Hong Kong International Airport, and Kai Tak MTR station is not inside the cruise facility. Ocean Terminal has its own waterfront setting in Tsim Sha Tsui. Keep the terminal name with the ship's current boarding instructions and provide the same details to anyone arranging a pickup.

Hong Kong International Airport publishes Airport Express, bus and taxi connections. An airport rail journey to the city requires a separate final approach to the assigned cruise terminal. Any airline check-in service at an Airport Express station is subject to participating-airline conditions and is not cruise check-in. Check the complete airport-to-ship route rather than combining unrelated station and terminal procedures.

Kai Tak's operator announced additional daily Citybus services from 28 September 2026, including the 22S connection with Airside and Kai Tak MTR. Use its current transport information for the actual call. A cruise-day shuttle can have different conditions from an ordinary daily route. For Ocean Terminal, plan the Tsim Sha Tsui approach rather than assuming a Kai Tak connection also serves the same passenger door.

The Kai Tak rooftop park and public waterfront offer a different city experience from Tsim Sha Tsui's harbour frontage. Choose visits according to the actual terminal, available time and the ship's return deadline. A view across Victoria Harbour does not make two waterfront places adjacent. Include the whole return connection when exploring beyond the terminal district.

Royal Caribbean's published 2026–27 China programme includes repeated Spectrum of the Seas departures from Hong Kong, supporting the regular line link. It is a deployment programme rather than a guarantee that every Hong Kong sailing uses an identical terminal entrance. Other brands may visit, but a ship name in a general historical list does not prove recurring current calls. The coordinate locates Hong Kong generally, not either terminal door.
