Port reference

Shanghai

Shanghai's Wusongkou International Cruise Terminal is in Baoshan, away from the central Bund waterfront. It is an ocean cruise facility rather than a generic river sightseeing departure. Confirm the actual terminal and boarding gate before arranging a transfer. A city-centre address or a map pin for a different passenger service should not replace the ship's instructions.

Coordinates identify the general port, not a passenger entrance. A dash means the value has not been independently verified.

Royal Caribbean gives the Wusongkou passenger destination as 1 Baoyang Road. The municipal visitor information also identifies tourism services in this cruise-port area. Different services within a large complex can have more detailed internal addresses, so use the actual sailing's gate and hall assignment. The existence of a tourist information counter does not define a universal cruise check-in door for every vessel.

Shanghai Pudong and Shanghai Hongqiao are different airports. The cruise-line directions describe separate road approaches from each, and Hongqiao also has a major railway interchange. Check whether the travel document refers to an airport or railway station before selecting the pickup. A flight arriving at one airport should not be planned using the other airport's terminal instructions or an unrelated Shanghai port code.

The city describes a public transport approach via Metro Line 3, Baoyang Road station and an onward bus connection toward Wusongkou. This is a journey with a final surface leg, not a metro platform beside the ship. Check the current route, luggage handling and permitted passenger gate for the call. For arrival by intercity train, include the connection from the actual railway station to this port approach.

The Bund and Yu Garden are central Shanghai visiting areas, separate from the Baoshan cruise facility. A city excursion needs an outward and return journey rather than being treated as an immediate port walk. Choose the visit according to the actual call length and traffic conditions. Keep the terminal address available when returning so that a driver does not select another waterfront passenger building.

Royal Caribbean's published 2026–27 China programme includes recurring Spectrum of the Seas departures from Shanghai, supporting the regular link. A general city guide mentioning historical ships is not used as proof of their current deployment. Future schedules can change. The official coordinate and UN/LOCODE here identify Shanghai generally; they do not mark Wusongkou's gate or either metropolitan airport.
