Victoria Cruise Terminal — Ogden Point
Deep-water cruise facility with assigned A/B pier berths; separate from the Inner Harbour.
Port reference
Victoria's ocean cruise calls use the Victoria Cruise Terminal at Ogden Point, on Vancouver Island. This deep-water facility is different from the Inner Harbour's marina and smaller passenger services. A city-centre harbour address therefore does not identify the ocean cruise entrance. Confirm the assigned pier and return instructions before leaving the ship or arranging a transfer.
Coordinates identify the general port, not a passenger entrance. A dash means the value has not been independently verified.
Greater Victoria Harbour Authority publishes a berth-specific seasonal schedule. The A and B pier assignments identify operating positions within the cruise facility rather than a promise of one shared doorway for every ship. Keep the actual ship name with any meeting arrangement. The authority's Wharf Street office address should not be substituted for the assigned passenger route at Ogden Point.
Victoria International Airport, YYJ, is separate from downtown and the cruise terminal. BC Transit describes routes 87 and 88 connecting the airport with McTavish exchange, with onward city connections. Limited early or late 72A journeys provide a different direct city-airport option. Check which service operates at the required time; the existence of 72A does not make every airport bus a through service to the cruise ship.
For an arrival from mainland Canada, a ferry, air journey or other booked island connection must be planned before the final road transfer to Ogden Point. A mainland railway ticket does not establish an ocean cruise platform in Victoria. Swartz Bay and the Inner Harbour are different arrival facilities from Ogden Point. Check both the island arrival point and the last leg instead of using a generic Victoria harbour marker.
The breakwater beside the terminal and Dallas Road provide waterfront walking options. Fisherman's Wharf and the Inner Harbour are separate visiting areas with their own route back to the ship. Choose according to the actual call length and walking ability. Evening calls need a return plan suited to the ship's deadline rather than an assumption that every attraction follows the cruise timetable.
The authority's July 2026 seasonal schedule contains repeated Holland America, Norwegian, Princess, Royal Caribbean, Carnival, MSC and Cunard calls. It distinguishes cancellations and technical calls, which should not be counted as ordinary completed passenger visits. These repeated entries support the regular brand links. The official coordinate locates Victoria generally and does not mark the assigned pier entrance.
