Port reference
Vancouver is a major departure city for Alaska cruises on Canada's Pacific coast. Canada Place is the cruise terminal on the downtown waterfront, and its passenger address is 999 Canada Place. Confirm the ship-specific boarding area and arrival window before entering the facility. The public waterfront and hotel entrances do not replace the cruise processing route.
Coordinates identify the general port, not a passenger entrance. A dash means the value has not been independently verified.
Cruise departures can involve several ships using the same overall terminal. Keep luggage labels, travel documents and the actual cruise-line instructions available when approaching check-in. An old port-direction sheet mentioning another pier should not override the assigned entrance for a current departure. Terminal parking, a road drop-off and a city-transit arrival are different ways to reach the facility and have their own final approaches.
Vancouver International Airport, identified by YVR, is outside the downtown cruise district. TransLink's Canada Line links YVR-Airport with Waterfront Station. Choose the airport branch when returning, because the wider Canada Line also serves Richmond–Brighouse. The station-to-terminal walk and any accessible entrance need to be included in the plan rather than treating the train arrival as the ship's gangway.
For other railway arrivals, confirm the actual city station and onward connection to Canada Place. Waterfront Station is a useful local interchange, but not the arrival point of every long-distance rail service. Check the current TransLink journey planner, luggage needs and operating notices for the travel date. No uniform airport fare or guaranteed airport-to-check-in duration is quoted here.
Gastown offers a nearby historic district visit separate from the terminal's operating spaces. Its streets and the waterfront can be explored according to available time, while a longer visit elsewhere in Vancouver needs a return plan. Before sailing, allow time to recover stored luggage and complete the cruise line's boarding process. A short city walk does not shorten the ship's document or security requirements.
The October 2026 edition of CLAA's 2027 Vancouver calendar lists repeated Holland America, Princess, Celebrity, Royal Caribbean and Disney calls. They support the regular links as a future seasonal programme, not a record of completed 2027 departures. The coordinate uses the NGA World Port Index's general Vancouver harbour position because the verified UN/LOCODE has no coordinate. It is not the terminal entrance.

YVR-Airport Canada Line to Waterfront, then the terminal approach. Return trains must use the airport branch.
Confirm the actual railway arrival station and onward connection; Waterfront is not every long-distance train terminus.
Use TransLink current routing and the cruise-line assigned passenger entrance at Canada Place.
Connections reflect published programmes, not a guarantee for a particular sailing. Pending and future calls can change.
Approximate straight-line distances between general port coordinates, not road or sailing routes. Proximity does not imply an available connection.
