Port reference

Tampa

Tampa's cruise departures use passenger facilities in the Channel District, separate from the wider commercial operations of Port Tampa Bay. The current terminal guide lists Cruise Terminals 2, 3 and 6. Read the terminal number in the sailing documents before reserving transport or parking. A port-wide location is not specific enough for the final passenger drop-off.

Coordinates identify the general port, not a passenger entrance. A dash means the value has not been independently verified.

Terminal 2 is at 651 Channelside Drive and Terminal 3 at 815 Channelside Drive. The guide places Terminal 6 at 1333 McKay Street. A nearby McKay Street parking address is not automatically the passenger entrance. Keep the terminal number and address together when arranging a transfer, and use the provider's directions for any separately booked parking facility. Confirm accessibility and baggage handling for the actual sailing.

Tampa International Airport, code TPA, is the local air gateway. The airport describes taxis at the baggage-claim ground-transportation areas and public bus access at the Rental Car Center. SkyConnect links airport facilities; it is not a train to the cruise port. A bus arrival in the city still needs a separately planned connection to the assigned terminal, with time for the boarding appointment.

The TECO Line Streetcar serves the Channel District and other city areas. Its Florida Aquarium stop can be useful when exploring locally, but select the final walk for the actual terminal rather than treating every cruise entrance as one stop. The Florida Aquarium and nearby waterfront area provide options for a pre-cruise visit. Check admission, luggage arrangements and the sailing timetable before adding an attraction to embarkation day.

Port Tampa Bay announced site preparation for an additional terminal in August 2026. That project is future capacity, not a fourth operating passenger terminal in this profile. Existing terminal information remains the basis for arrival planning. The general harbour coordinate is not a doorway. The port's 2026 operating statement identifies repeated homeport programmes for Carnival, Royal Caribbean, Norwegian and Celebrity, plus multiple Oceania visits. These support the regular links; individual ships, dates and terminal assignments still require confirmation for the booked journey.

Getting there

Airport connections

Tampa International Airport (TPA): airport taxis or planned bus connection. SkyConnect serves airport facilities, not the cruise terminals.

Rail connections

Local transport and final connection

Match terminal2,3or6 to the sailing. TECO streetcar serves the district; plan the remaining route separately.
