Riga Passenger Port
Central passenger-port area; confirm the ship-specific berth.
Port reference
Riga is a Baltic cruise destination on the Daugava, with a central passenger-port area and other assigned berths. The Freeport of Riga says most cruise vessels use Riga Passenger Port, close to the city's historic centre. That description does not make every quay a city-centre entrance. Confirm the actual berth before booking a transfer or choosing an independent walking route.
Coordinates identify the general port, not a passenger entrance. A dash means the value has not been independently verified.
The authority's corrected 2026 schedule identifies several berth codes, including MK-4, JPS-2 and KRS 6/7. They should not be silently collapsed into one passenger building. A large ship's assigned quay and a central passenger-port visit can involve different last legs. Give a transfer provider the ship's actual boarding instructions, and keep the same information for the return to the port.
Riga Airport publishes bus 22 as a connection with the city centre. The airport-to-city ride is separate from the final approach to the cruise quay. Check the current timetable, luggage arrangements and the stop appropriate to your actual berth. No fixed airport-to-gangway time is inferred from the city-bus journey. A prearranged road transfer also needs the correct terminal destination.
For a railway arrival, plan the onward city journey from the station to the assigned passenger entrance. The port describes Rail Baltica and a future airport connection as development projects; this profile does not present those proposals as a current direct airport train. Likewise, proposed new Eksportosta and Riga RoPax infrastructure should not replace the boarding address supplied for an existing sailing.
The Old Town provides a compact historic visiting area, including Dome Square and Riga Cathedral. Its position makes a central visit possible without establishing an identical walk from every berth. Choose the route according to your walking ability, available time and the ship's return deadline. A longer excursion elsewhere in Latvia needs its own transport plan rather than being treated as a neighbouring waterfront walk.
Repeated AIDA, Princess, TUI Cruises and MSC entries in the corrected official 2026 schedule support the regular cruise-line links. The schedule remains a planning document and individual calls can change. The position here uses the NGA World Port Index's general Riga harbour reference because the verified UN/LOCODE entry does not provide a coordinate. It is not the entrance of a specific terminal.
Central passenger-port area; confirm the ship-specific berth.
The authority also lists JPS-2 and KRS 6/7; access depends on the call.
Airport bus 22 connects with the city; continue separately to the assigned cruise berth.
City railway arrivals need an onward transfer. Proposed Rail Baltica airport services are not presented as operating.
Use the call-specific berth, not an address for a future terminal project.
Connections reflect published programmes, not a guarantee for a particular sailing. Pending and future calls can change.
Approximate straight-line distances between general port coordinates, not road or sailing routes. Proximity does not imply an available connection.
