Port reference

Livorno

Livorno is a Tuscan port city and a gateway for excursions to Pisa and Florence. Those cities are inland destinations, not the cruise ship's docking location. An itinerary marketed as Florence / Pisa still requires a journey out of Livorno and back. Choose the actual cruise berth as the transfer origin rather than entering Florence as if it were the harbour.

Coordinates identify the general port, not a passenger entrance. A dash means the value has not been independently verified.

Porto di Livorno 2000 identifies several passenger facilities, including Alto Fondale at quays 46 and 47 and a terminal supporting homeport operations. The wider harbour handles other maritime traffic as well. Confirm the ship's berth and passenger entrance for the booked sailing. A company office address or ferry departure point is not sufficient to establish the last cruise check-in route.

The operator provides ship-side welcome information and a shuttle connection towards downtown Livorno. Ask about the actual pick-up, destination, operating arrangements and any charge for your call. The existence of a downtown shuttle does not establish a direct service to Pisa, Florence or Livorno Centrale station. Plan each onward connection separately and retain the return location before leaving the ship area.

Pisa Galileo Galilei Airport is an air gateway for the region. Pisamover links that airport with Pisa Centrale, where an onward railway journey can be planned towards Livorno Centrale. A final road or local-transport connection is then still required to the assigned cruise entrance. Confirm the complete itinerary and baggage arrangements rather than interpreting the airport people mover as a train to the ship.

Livorno itself offers the Venezia Nuova canal district and the seafront Terrazza Mascagni as alternatives to a long inland excursion. Select a route compatible with the ship's available time and the required return shuttle. The coordinate here is a general city reference. Princess publishes distinct 2027 voyages on Enchanted Princess and Sky Princess with Livorno calls, supporting the regular connection. Programme footnotes and changed ports must be checked for the particular departure, especially when a brochure groups several itinerary variants.
