Passenger terminal for controlled connections with the ship area.
Port reference
La Spezia is a Ligurian cruise destination and a gateway to the Cinque Terre. It is a different port from Livorno and Marina di Carrara, even when cruise itineraries advertise overlapping regional excursions. Confirm the actual arrival before booking a driver or railway connection. A voyage title mentioning Florence / Pisa does not place those cities beside the La Spezia passenger terminal.
Coordinates identify the general port, not a passenger entrance. A dash means the value has not been independently verified.
The established terminal is at Largo Michele Fiorillo, with controlled connections to the Garibaldi pier ship area. The operator requires a shuttle for that connection. Do not plan to walk through the working port simply because the terminal and ship appear close on a map. A terminal-to-town walk begins after the controlled port section, which must also be included in the return plan.
Cruise-port construction changes some arrival arrangements. The operator's 2026 notice describes repeated Royal Caribbean anchorage calls and temporary reception arrangements at Molo Italia and Molo Garibaldi. This means not every visitor arrives alongside at the same berth or follows one universal shuttle route. Confirm whether the actual call uses a berth or tender and retain the correct landing point and last return time.
Pisa Galileo Galilei Airport provides an air gateway for a longer connection to La Spezia. Pisamover links the airport to Pisa Centrale, followed by onward rail planning towards La Spezia Centrale and a separate final terminal transfer. La Spezia Centrale is a city station rather than a cruise check-in hall. Plan luggage, station exits and the port connection as parts of the complete journey.
The waterfront and town offer alternatives to a full Cinque Terre excursion. A train or boat outing to the villages needs its own ticket, operating check and return buffer. It does not include the ship's controlled transfer automatically. The general coordinate here locates La Spezia, not a passenger doorway. The terminal operator's repeated 2026 Royal Caribbean programme supports the regular line connection. Construction plans are not described as a completed new terminal, and future facilities are not substituted for the actual passenger instructions.
Largo Michele Fiorillo snc, 19124 La Spezia, Italy
Passenger terminal for controlled connections with the ship area.
Call-specific landings used during cruise-port construction; confirm actual arrangement.
Pisa Galileo Galilei Airport (PSA): Pisamover to Pisa Centrale, onward rail towards La Spezia Centrale, then separate terminal transfer.
La Spezia Centrale is the city railway station; plan the remaining terminal connection and controlled ship transfer.
Garibaldi-pier calls require the operator shuttle; tender calls during works can use temporary landing arrangements. Confirm the actual return route.
Connections reflect published programmes, not a guarantee for a particular sailing. Pending and future calls can change.
Approximate straight-line distances between general port coordinates, not road or sailing routes. Proximity does not imply an available connection.
