Port reference

Grand Turk

Grand Turk combines a purpose-built cruise centre with the opportunity to visit Cockburn Town elsewhere on the island. The cruise arrival is not in Providenciales, the better-known international air gateway on a different island. Use the island name as well as the terminal when planning an independent journey. A general reference to Turks and Caicos is not enough to arrange the final transfer.

Coordinates identify the general port, not a passenger entrance. A dash means the value has not been independently verified.

Grand Turk Cruise Center provides beachside visitor facilities, shops, food outlets and a pool area. An activity offered inside the centre should be distinguished from an excursion around the island. Check what the cruise booking actually includes before reserving cabanas, equipment or other optional services. Do not treat the presence of a facility as a promise that every activity is included in the cruise fare.

JAGS McCartney International Airport serves Grand Turk. A journey using Providenciales requires a separate inter-island connection before a local road transfer can begin. Confirm the operating airline, connection arrangements and boarding appointment for the particular trip. For local transport, the port publishes rental and tour information; choose the actual cruise-centre meeting point with the provider and confirm the return location before setting out.

Cockburn Town offers historic buildings and the island's administrative centre. Decide whether the day is mainly for the cruise-centre beach facilities or for a town visit, then allow for the complete outward and return journey. A town coordinate does not describe the distance from the ship to an attraction. The general reference used here locates Cockburn Town and should not be used as a passenger entrance pin.

The port's linked November 2026 calendar shows repeated Carnival, Princess, Royal Caribbean, Virgin and Holland America calls, supporting their regular connections. P&O's distinct Britannia voyages B702 and B704 also include Grand Turk. Company columns can mix corporate and brand names, so an Explora ship is not automatically an ordinary MSC Cruises call. The programme is provisional; the cruise line's instructions establish boarding and return times for the actual visit.

Airport connections

JAGS McCartney International Airport (GDT) is on Grand Turk; Providenciales (PLS) is a different island requiring an additional connection.

Rail connections

No passenger rail connection to the cruise terminal is established in the reviewed arrival information. Plan the final approach by road or on the authorised pedestrian route.

Local transport and final connection

Agree cruise-centre pick-up and return with the transport provider; Cockburn Town is a separate visiting destination.
