Port reference
Bergen offers a city harbour on Norway's west coast rather than a single outlying cruise pier. The port's own map separates Skolten North and South, Bontelabo and Festningskaien around the entrance to Vågen from Jekteviken on Puddefjorden. This distinction changes the first part of a shore visit and the pickup point for an onward transfer. Save the assigned quay name before leaving the ship.
Coordinates identify the general port, not a passenger entrance. A dash means the value has not been independently verified.
Skolten is a useful reference for the historic-harbour side. Jekteviken is a different port area and should not be substituted for it in a taxi request. Coastal-voyage and ferry services also appear in the wider arrival list; a familiar shipping name does not establish that a particular passenger uses the same terminal as an ocean cruise.
The port identifies controlled ISPS facilities at Skolten and Dokken. Follow the marked passenger route and the instructions for your sailing. A public map showing a short line across a working quay is not an invitation to walk through cargo operations. Confirm the permitted meeting point when arranging a private vehicle or assistance.
Bergen Airport Flesland is the appropriate air gateway. Skyss identifies light-rail line1 between the airport and the city, with Byparken at the central end. Continue separately to the assigned cruise facility. Bergen railway station and the light-rail stop are city transport connections rather than ship-side arrival points. Airport coaches provide another option; choose their actual stop before booking a final transfer.
Bryggen's historic waterfront, Bergenhus Fortress and the Fish Market give the inner harbour several distinct visiting areas. Plan around the assigned exit and your own walking needs instead of assuming that every ship is alongside Bryggen. Keep time available for the return through the passenger entrance, particularly when visiting streets beyond the waterfront.
The authority's forward arrivals show repeated AIDA, TUI Cruises and Holland America visits. These support recurring port links, not a guarantee of embarkation on every call. Future arrivals can change, and the listing also includes cargo ships that are irrelevant to a passenger itinerary. The coordinate is the general UNECE Bergen location, not a cruise-terminal door.

Separate Puddefjorden port area; the precise passenger route depends on the berth.
Flesland airport links to the city by Skyss light-rail line1 and airport coaches; complete a separate transfer to your quay.
Bergen railway station and Byparken are city connections, not cruise-terminal entrances. Check the last leg to Skolten or Jekteviken.
Use the assigned quay name and marked passenger exit. Skolten and Jekteviken require different return routes.
Connections reflect published programmes, not a guarantee for a particular sailing. Pending and future calls can change.
Approximate straight-line distances between general port coordinates, not road or sailing routes. Proximity does not imply an available connection.
