About us Seven Seas Splendor
Seven Seas Splendor was delivered by Fincantieri at Ancona on 30 January 2020. It followed Explorer as Regent's second vessel of that design family. The operator introduced its passenger programme in February of the same year, with Captain Serena Melani leading the new ship. Its permanent IMO number is 9807085 and the flag is Marshall Islands.
The introductory programme linked Barcelona and Miami before Caribbean and Panama Canal itineraries. Model and actress Christie Brinkley served as godmother at the Miami christening. Those historical events explain the introduction of the ship; they are not a permanent itinerary or a current claim about the master serving on every departure.
Dining was designed around several distinct settings. The delivery account identifies Compass Rose, the Asian-inspired Pacific Rim, steakhouse Prime 7, French restaurant Chartreuse and the evening Italian offer at La Veranda. Compare the current menu and reservation conditions for the actual voyage. Included meals should be distinguished from wine experiences, classes and treatments that have their own conditions.
All accommodation has a private balcony, but the room categories are far from interchangeable. The operator's current inventory lists 374 suites and 548 crew. A suite photograph may represent a particular location or premium arrangement. Use the actual floor plan and category benefits when comparing living space, bathroom layout and additional services.
The builder's individual technical reference gives 223.7 metres overall length, 31 metres beam and 20.5 knots maximum speed. Its diesel-electric design uses generating engines and electric propulsion motors rather than establishing a current LNG installation. The maximum-speed figure is explicitly distinguished from normal service speed.
Historical delivery material and current operator particulars do not fully agree on tonnage and accommodation totals. The present suite count is dated separately from the original design, while a final reconciled registered tonnage remains open here. Total persons aboard includes crew and cannot be reused as a passenger maximum. Compare Splendor's own facts with Explorer and Grandeur rather than substituting a single class template. Your confirmed departure, room and included fare determine the practical experience more closely than a ship-wide luxury label.
