About us Seven Seas Grandeur

Seven Seas Grandeur completed Regent's three-ship Explorer Class generation in 2023. Fincantieri's announcement dated 14 November records delivery at Ancona on the previous day, so the actual handover was 13 November. Permanent IMO number 9877444 identifies this ship independently of its class relatives. The operator's inaugural programme began in November 2023.

A Miami gala on 10 December welcomed the ship with Sarah Fabergé as godmother. The completed ceremony also unveiled Journey in Jewels, a bespoke Fabergé egg intended to remain aboard. Art and interior design therefore form a distinctive part of Grandeur's identity, rather than every feature being a direct copy of Explorer or Splendor.

The art collection and renewed restaurant settings can be considered alongside the itinerary when choosing this vessel. An inaugural Mediterranean journey and later Atlantic crossing belong to its introduction, not a fixed sequence for every future reservation. Compare the actual gateways and port hours rather than assuming an old brochure represents the voyage now on sale.

Grandeur's current operator inventory lists 373 balcony suites and 548 crew. All-balcony accommodation still encompasses different floor plans and category benefits. Consider room position, accessibility information and the services explicitly included in your category. A large premium-suite illustration should not be used to judge the layout of an ordinary reservation.

Fincantieri's technical reference gives 223.7 metres overall length and 31 metres beam. It specifies a diesel-electric arrangement with generating engines and two propulsion motors, and separates maximum speed of 20.5 knots from service speed. Those engineering particulars do not prove that the ship has no environmental impact or that an announced technology on another class is fitted here.

Some design figures need further reconciliation. The technical sheet groups Grandeur with Splendor using a tonnage that differs from the approximately 55,500 in delivery publicity and the current operator page. Certified registered tonnage is consequently left open rather than selecting an unexplained exact value. Original accommodation totals are kept separate from today's 373 suites. The same care applies to total persons aboard and passenger capacity: crew places do not become guest berths. Grandeur is best compared through its own current inventory, art identity and booked itinerary.
