About us Norwegian Aqua

Norwegian Aqua introduced the enlarged Prima Plus design to NCL in 2025. Delivered at Fincantieri's Marghera yard, it follows Norwegian Prima and Norwegian Viva while offering a different upper-deck activity mix. The main distinction for an active family is the Aqua Slidecoaster: a paired water ride using a powered launch, rather than the racetrack associated with the earlier Prima ships. Check participation conditions before making that attraction the reason for a booking.

Ocean Boulevard provides an alternative focus lower down the vessel. The exterior promenade connects sea views, seating and the Infinity Beach setting, so a sea day need not revolve entirely around the top pool deck. For cabin selection, examine how a particular balcony relates to public outdoor areas. A sea-facing room and an unobstructed private outlook are not automatically the same thing.

Evenings have a ship-specific musical identity through Revolution: A Celebration of Prince. This is a tribute production, not an appearance by the artist. Glow Court adds a digital sports floor, while Aqua Game Zone offers another form of indoor recreation. These choices make it useful to compare planned family activities with a quieter companion's preferred spaces rather than treating the vessel as one continuous entertainment zone.

Dining includes the Indulge Food Hall concept, with Planterie providing plant-based choices, alongside Hudson's and The Commodore Room. Sukhothai is a speciality restaurant, so its presence should not be confused with inclusion in every fare. The Haven's restaurant belongs to its own accommodation product. Read the reservation and package conditions of the actual sailing before assembling a daily dining plan.

Technical sources require care here. The builder's detailed specification and the US Coast Guard record support 154,140 GT, whereas launch publicity often gives 156,300. Current operator information identifies 3,565 guests at double occupancy, rather than the earlier 3,571. Gross tonnage measures enclosed volume, not weight; neither figure establishes a maximum passenger count. Conflicting cabin totals remain unresolved in this record instead of being copied from Luna.
