Ship reference
Ship specifications and sources.
Norwegian Luna entered passenger service in 2026 as the second Prima Plus ship. Fincantieri delivered it at Marghera in March, and the first guests embarked in Civitavecchia before the Atlantic crossing to Miami. That sequence distinguishes construction completion, the first passenger journey and the later christening. It is already an operating vessel, even though some early descriptions still speak about a future launch.
Luna develops the outdoor family programme with Moon Climber, a multilevel obstacle attraction, and Luna Midway, an area inspired by fairground games. Horizon Park supplies a different option for shared lawn-style activities. Together they offer useful points of comparison with Aqua instead of assuming that two ships in the same class have identical recreation. Participation rules and any applicable charges should be checked for the chosen activity.
The Aqua Slidecoaster remains a prominent shared feature of the expanded class. Away from the ride, Ocean Boulevard and Infinity Beach provide a lower-deck relationship with the water. Travellers seeking a calmer break can also examine the Observation Lounge. Compare these settings with the position of a proposed cabin: the nearest busy venue can matter more to a light sleeper than the largest attraction elsewhere on the vessel.
The production programme includes Elton: A Celebration of Elton John and HIKO: Innovation Meets Wonder. The former celebrates the musician's work; it does not mean he performs aboard. LunaTique is advertised as a late-night experience for guests aged 21 and over, which makes it a different proposition from family entertainment. Check the current programme rather than planning every evening from a pre-launch announcement.
Hudson's, The Commodore Room and Indulge Food Hall sit alongside speciality choices such as Sukhothai and Onda by Scarpetta. Haven suites belong to a separate accommodation and service product. Current operator information gives 3,565 double-occupancy guests and the individual fact sheet lists 1,809 rooms; its earlier 3,571 passenger figure is not used as the current count. Neither room inventory nor double occupancy should be converted into an invented maximum capacity.

A dash means no independently verified value is available. Guest counts at double occupancy and maximum capacity are different measures. GT measures enclosed volume, not weight.
Only independently documented types are listed; this is not a complete inventory. Sizes and occupancy refer to the stated type, not every cabin.
