About us Celebrity Summit

Celebrity Summit entered service in 2001 as the third Millennium-class ship built at Chantiers de l'Atlantique in Saint-Nazaire. It has subsequently changed through refurbishment rather than being replaced by a new vessel. IMO 9192387 provides the stable identity. The current operator and technical particulars agree on 91003 gross tons; an older individual sheet's 99940 figure is not adopted. Published double occupancy is 2218 guests.

Its major Celebrity Revolution transformation was completed in March 2019. The operator's contemporary newsletter describes redesigned rooms and suites, new Retreat facilities and reworked restaurants, bars, spa and casino. It also places the work in Freeport, Grand Bahama. That completed account is more useful than an earlier announcement predicting how the ship would look. It identifies a significant hotel change within the life of the original 2001 hull.

A later renewal is recorded in 2025. Trimline's own project account documents completed casino and art-gallery expansion, new finishes and associated furniture and equipment work. This is a defined interior project. It is not evidence that all bedrooms received another complete replacement or that every aspect of the 2019 transformation was repeated. When comparing older ships, distinguish the latest yard date from the scope of the largest redesign.

For a day at sea, the Rooftop Terrace provides outdoor film space, while the Solarium offers an enclosed pool setting. Evening choices include the main theatre and Rendezvous Lounge. Tuscan Grille and Sushi on Five add specialist dining alongside the main restaurant and Oceanview Cafe. The relevant question for planning is how these places fit the time you expect to spend on board; a long list of venues alone does not explain their atmosphere or booking requirements.

The Retreat's lounge, sundeck and Luminae are associated with eligible suite bookings, while AquaClass dining at Blu is a separate entitlement. Compare the actual room category rather than assuming that every balcony includes those private spaces. Overall length and breadth are 294 and 32.2 metres in individual technical particulars. Current room totals differ between 1109 in corporate material and 1103 in a deck reference, so the field remains empty. Crew, maximum guests, total decks and a verified maximum speed likewise remain unresolved instead of copying a sister's inventory or relabelling cruising speed.
