About us Celebrity Solstice

Celebrity Solstice introduced the Solstice class in 2008, built by Meyer Werft in Papenburg. Its original real-grass upper-deck design helped establish the series, but the present ship should be judged after its completed 2026 transformation. The renewed vessel departed Singapore on 2 March 2026. This is a completed change, unlike the later programme announced for Reflection in March 2027. IMO 9362530 identifies the ship across those different stages of its life.

Sunset Park now defines the aft outdoor gathering area, with space for activities, music and time overlooking the sea. Sunset Park Cafe adds casual food, and the expanded Sunset Bar serves the surrounding deck. An original Lawn Club description alone therefore does not explain the current arrangement. Private cabanas and open gathering spaces serve different purposes; consider how much reserved seating matters for your own time outdoors.

Dining additions include Trattoria Rossa and Fine Cut Steakhouse. The former focuses on Italian cooking, while the latter brings a steakhouse concept already associated with the Edge series onto this older hull. They do not turn Solstice into an Edge-class vessel. Compare the menu and booking conditions for the actual sailing before assuming that a named restaurant is included in every fare or remains available without a reservation.

Boulevard Lounge offers a smaller performance and social setting, with Boulevard Bar alongside. The Parlor provides games such as billiards, darts and board games, plus a place to watch sport. These spaces give a different evening rhythm from a main-theatre production. The revised suite experience includes a redesigned Retreat Lounge and new Retreat Sundeck, while AquaClass expansion and Blu remain tied to the relevant accommodation benefits.

The operator's March completion release reports 1479 rooms after adding accommodation; its current corporate charter page lists 1480. That unresolved discrepancy is recorded rather than choosing a total silently. Passenger figures also differ after the work, so neither double occupancy nor maximum guests is asserted without reconciliation. Current operator and technical records support 121878 gross tons, and builder dimensions are 317.2 metres overall by 36.8 metres moulded breadth. Cruising speed, guest decks and historical crew counts are not relabelled as verified maximum speed, total decks or current staffing.
