Port reference

Warnemünde

Warnemünde combines a Baltic cruise quay with a seaside district of Rostock. It is important to distinguish this passenger location from the overseas port on the other side of the Warnow. A transfer or parking space advertised for Rostock may serve a different part of the harbour, even when both places belong to the same port system.

Coordinates identify the general port, not a passenger entrance. A dash means the value has not been independently verified.

The published arrival address for Warnemünde Cruise Center is Am Passagierkai 3. Individual cruise calls identify berths such as P7 and P8, so keep the ship's own instructions alongside the general terminal address. Seeing a vessel from the station does not replace finding its designated luggage and passenger entrance.

Warnemünde railway station is close to the cruise facilities and connects with Rostock Hauptbahnhof by S-Bahn. Some longer-distance trains also reach Warnemünde. Check the itinerary for your travel date rather than assuming every intercity arrival continues to the coast. Rostock's central railway station and Warnemünde station are different arrival points.

Rostock-Laage is the regional airport identified by local tourism. A flight arrival still requires an onward connection to the coast; the airport is not beside the quay. Compare an actually available flight and ground transfer with a rail journey before choosing the airport option. A published regional journey estimate is not a guaranteed airport-to-check-in time.

AIDA uses Warnemünde for repeated passenger-change calls. The port's dated 2026 calendar also records repeated MSC, TUI Cruises and Norwegian visits. Those records establish cruise activity, while the particular sailing determines whether you embark, disembark or spend a day ashore. A line's presence does not promise a departure on every date.

The Alter Strom, lighthouse and beach give a shore visit a seaside focus without requiring a trip into central Rostock. A city excursion remains a separate option with its own return connection. Parking at the cruise terminal is restricted during calls, so confirm a suitable parking product and transfer rather than driving onto operational quay space. The stored coordinate identifies Warnemünde generally and is not a terminal gate.
