Port Adelaide Passenger Terminal — Outer Harbor
Oliver Rogers Road, Outer Harbor, South Australia, Australia
Cruise passenger terminal; authorised pickup/drop-off through Gate C.
Port reference
Adelaide's cruise passenger terminal is at Outer Harbor, away from the central business district. Flinders Ports places the Port Adelaide Passenger Terminal on Oliver Rogers Road on the Le Fevre Peninsula. The label Port Adelaide does not mean that every attraction or station in the wider Port Adelaide district is beside the ship. Confirm the passenger facility and the sailing's entry instructions before booking transport.
Coordinates identify the general port, not a passenger entrance. A dash means the value has not been independently verified.
The operator identifies Gate C for the terminal pickup and drop-off area. Boarding passengers must carry their boarding pass and identification for the security check. Drivers cannot leave vehicles unattended in the collection zone. Limited short-stay spaces are different from parking throughout a cruise, and the secure passenger area is not a public viewing attraction. Ask about luggage and assistance before arrival so the chosen vehicle can use the correct destination.
Outer Harbor railway station provides a nearby connection to Adelaide Railway Station in the city. The port describes a dedicated pedestrian route between station and terminal, although its own page gives differing approximate walking distances. This profile therefore avoids an exact platform-to-gangway measurement. Check the actual route, current trains and your ability to manage luggage. Adelaide Metro's cruise ticket has eligibility conditions, including carrying a cruise pass, rather than being a universal free city transport offer.
Adelaide Airport is a separate arrival point. Metro's J1 and J2 buses pass through the city, while other airport routes serve different suburbs. A bus journey into central Adelaide can be followed by the Outer Harbor train and the remaining terminal approach; it is not a direct airport-to-ship service. Compare that complete journey with a booked road transfer and allow time for port screening and the check-in deadline. No fixed overall connection duration is assumed.
North Terrace offers a city visit after the train journey, with cultural destinations including the South Australian Museum and the wider boulevard. These are central Adelaide attractions rather than places immediately outside the harbour gate. Select a realistic route and check return trains before extending the visit. A regional wine excursion has its own road journey and return requirements.
South Australian Tourism's October 2026 announcement and current visitor information support repeated Princess visits and programmes. State-wide cruise totals are not presented as calls at this one terminal. Carnival's separately published future Adelaide homeport season also supports its regular programme link, with the future dates kept explicit. The coordinate represents Adelaide generally, not the Outer Harbor entrance.
