About us Star Legend

Star Legend was delivered originally in 1992 according to the contemporary annual delivery table of its later owner. It subsequently sailed as Seabourn Legend before joining Windstar in 2015. Those milestones belong to one ship's history. A new operator or name does not establish a newly built hull or reset the original completion year.

Fincantieri completed Legend's Star Plus transformation in May 2021 at Palermo. It was the second ship finished in that programme, after Star Breeze and before Star Pride. A new mid-body section, replacement machinery and extensive interior work changed the existing vessel. Older dimensions and passenger figures from before the conversion do not describe the present ship.

The operator's current particulars identify 159 metres in length, 19 metres in breadth and 200 crew. Individual insurance records match IMO 9008598 with gross tonnage of 12969 and Nassau registry. That precise tonnage is distinguished from a different value in the shared operator deck sheet and rounded figures in the shipyard's conversion account.

The published maximum is 312 guests, across 156 suites. These are separately sourced quantities rather than a capacity manufactured by multiplying rooms. Although Legend belongs to the original extended trio with Breeze and Pride, the deck document identifies individual differences in adjoining rooms and convertible-suite arrangements. A common suite category is a starting point, not proof of identical layouts.

Basil + Bamboo is part of the ship's current culinary programme, confirmed by the operator's hotel-operations director. When comparing voyages, check dining conditions and any additional experiences against the actual fare. Programmes may change between seasons, and an attractive regional description cannot establish exact port hours or the daily balance between time aboard and ashore.

Select accommodation using the specific floor plan and access information. Modified-accessible suites have stated limitations, and the operator identifies the midship lift as the accessible lift. Discuss personal needs before reserving. Confirm embarkation instructions and connect independent transport to the actual sailing. The completed transformation explains the ship's current scale; the room and itinerary explain how an individual Legend journey may suit your plans.
