About us MSC Musica

MSC Musica entered service in 2006 and gave its name to the Musica family. It was built in Saint-Nazaire, France. The ship belongs to an earlier generation than MSC's large Meraviglia and World vessels. Its foyer, traditional public-room arrangement and named lounges provide more useful orientation than transferring the newest fleet attractions to every active MSC ship.

The checked operator reference gives 92,409 gross tonnage, 293.8 metres overall length and 32.2 metres breadth. It lists 1,275 cabins and a full guest reference of 3,223. The current web crew reference is 987, compared with approximately 1,014 in the September 2024 sheet. That difference is recorded. Sixteen total decks include thirteen for guests. Conflicting maximum-speed references remain unresolved, and no double-occupancy value is invented from the room count.

The central foyer's waterfall and suspended piano are recognisable elements of the operator's presentation. The technical inventory names Teatro La Scala, Crystal Lounge and Il Tucano Lounge, with Belle Époque and L'Oleandro as dining rooms. Those places offer a practical basis for comparing evenings and meals on Musica with the other members of the family.

Yacht Club is announced for November 2026, after this reference's check date. The associated refurbishment programme includes Butcher's Cut, a Kaito Sushi Bar concept and renewed wellness facilities. These are future programme announcements here, not evidence that every improvement is already available on an October departure. Verify the sailing date and completed arrangements before choosing a particular room or venue for its new features.

A useful accommodation shortlist starts with beds, outlook and the exact category's privileges. Compare the pre- and post-refurbishment room information appropriate to the departure rather than using an old plan for a future altered layout. Follow the routes to dinner and preferred meeting places, then connect them with sea days and ports. Musica's own programme and the timing of the booked cruise together matter more than a general promise about an upgraded fleet.
