About us Enchantment of the Seas

Enchantment of the Seas is a Vision-family vessel that began Royal Caribbean passenger service in 1997. The operator identifies its original construction location as Helsinki, Finland. A later structural change is important to understanding the present ship: the company's historical annual filing records a lengthening in 2005 through insertion of a 73-foot midsection. That event is distinct from both the original service year and any later refurbishment.

The current technical reference lists 82,910 gross tonnage and a rounded length of 301 metres. Published accommodation capacity is 2,252 passengers at double occupancy, while the operator counts 12 total decks and 11 guest decks. Its current cabin total remains unresolved because two operator publications disagree. The historic extension should not be used to calculate a current room inventory by adding old figures together.

Enchantment's named gathering places include Boleros, Spotlight Lounge, Schooner Bar and R Bar. Its technical sheet also lists Royal Theater, the outdoor movie screen, the climbing wall, Solarium and the Vitality spa and fitness centre. Chops Grille, Chef's Table and Park Café appear in the dining material. These provide concrete points of comparison without assuming that every Vision-family ship has an identical choice of restaurants or bars.

An eight-night itinerary published for 31 October 2026 starts and finishes in Tampa. It visits Nassau, Bimini, CocoCay and Cozumel, with three cruising days spread through the trip. This dated example combines several Bahamas destinations with a Mexican call; its full port list is more informative than relying only on the itinerary's broad regional title. It does not establish an unchanging deployment.

For accommodation, study the exact category and the routes to the public spaces you expect to use. A longer holiday makes the balance between days ashore and time aboard particularly relevant. Compare Enchantment's present arrangement with the actual booking details, keeping its original construction, documented lengthening and current facilities as separate parts of the ship's history.
