Queens Wharf — Shed 10
Existing cruise passenger facility; confirm the assigned wharf.
Port reference
Auckland's cruise passengers currently use distinct waterfront facilities, notably Shed 10 on Queens Wharf and the neighbouring Princes Wharf. Port of Auckland describes both as passenger handling locations with other uses outside cruise visits. A booking that says Auckland alone therefore does not establish the right entrance. Retain the actual wharf assignment when arranging a driver, meeting family or returning from an independent visit.
Coordinates identify the general port, not a passenger entrance. A dash means the value has not been independently verified.
A new facility, Te Waharoa, has been announced for opening in early 2027. Its promotional project page should not be read as proof that it is already the boarding point for an October 2026 sailing. Confirm any later terminal change through the cruise line's documents. The existing schedule still distinguishes Queens and Princes, and a hotel's location on Princes Wharf does not make its reception the cruise check-in desk.
Auckland Airport is connected to the wider transport network by AirportLink buses through Puhinui Station. Auckland Transport's current guidance identifies onward city rail connections and warns that works can require replacement buses. Choose the actual flight terminal and service day in the journey planner. The train journey is followed by the appropriate waterfront approach; there is no airport railway platform beside either cruise gangway. Compare the complete route with a booked road transfer when carrying heavy luggage.
Waitematā, also known by its former name Britomart, is a central transport reference rather than a cruise terminal itself. The correct final walking route depends on the assigned wharf and passenger entrance. Check assistance requirements with the cruise line, not only with the airline. The port calendar also distinguishes expected pilot boarding time from a ship already alongside. An expected arrival in the harbour is not a promise that passengers can immediately leave the ship.
Tāmaki Paenga Hira Auckland Museum provides a separate city excursion in Auckland Domain. Allocate time for the outward and return journey rather than treating it as a building beside the quay. Waterfront sightseeing can be planned on a shorter route, but ferry services and cruise check-in remain different operations.
The current port schedule confirms repeated Princess and Celebrity visits, including November 2026 calls by Crown and Grand Princess and multiple Celebrity Edge visits. Those programme links do not imply every vessel uses the same berth. The official coordinate locates Auckland generally, not a passenger entrance.
Existing cruise passenger facility; confirm the assigned wharf.
Separate cruise berth; do not use a hotel booking as the boarding instruction.
AirportLink to Puhinui and onward city transport, then the separate assigned-wharf approach; check current works.
Waitematā / former Britomart is a city interchange; follow the actual Queens or Princes Wharf assignment.
Keep current wharf instructions; Te Waharoa is announced for2027, not assumed open today.
Connections reflect published programmes, not a guarantee for a particular sailing. Pending and future calls can change.
Approximate straight-line distances between general port coordinates, not road or sailing routes. Proximity does not imply an available connection.
